Mission Statement
Chris Nelson is a hard-working, middle-class American who believes in the foundation of our glorious nation. Chris believes in the fundamentals outlined in the Constitution of the United States and seeks to return our straying government from the hands of the privileged to the strength and power of the average American.
“We the People” are the first three words of the Constitution and are famous throughout the world. It affirms that the government of the United States exists to serve its citizens. Chris vows to bring the American people’s viewpoint to the most powerful branch of the government: the United States Congress. Specifically, he seeks to allow the voice of the individual citizen to echo within the Senate chamber. He will do this not because he can relate to you, but because he is one of you.
Chris strives to disrupt the polar imbalance of the two-party rule and bring the focus of our government back to the American People, the American household, and the freedoms and opportunities granted by the Constitution of the United States. He seeks to serve you by focusing on the basic infrastructure needed for our nation’s operation and removing the political exploitation that plagues our government – at our expense. Chris strives to return the control of our households to the individual and the control of our state to the appropriately elected body.
